Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within overall project timelines.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, progress reports, and resource allocation plans for electrical works.
  • Provide technical support and solutions to site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Review and resolve discrepancies in design documents, drawings, and specifications related to electrical systems.
  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to clarify technical issues and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives for electrical systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control procedures throughout all technical office activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence, drawings, and technical documents for project archiving and future reference.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a technical office role within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and codes applicable to industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
  • Experience in preparing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.
