Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Technical Office Engineer (Architectural) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in shop drawings, coordination, and technical documentation for large-scale construction projects.

  • Prepare and review architectural shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with design, structural, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues and integrate multidisciplinary requirements.
  • Develop and update project documentation, including material submittals, RFIs, and technical reports.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed bills of quantities for architectural works.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of architectural tasks.
  • Review and validate contractor and supplier submittals for architectural materials and systems.
  • Participate in site visits to verify construction activities align with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Support value engineering initiatives to optimize design solutions and reduce project costs.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Architecture or a related field.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a technical office engineering role with a focus on architectural projects.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing architectural shop drawings and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
