Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, review, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Prepare and review technical drawings, and documentation for mechanical systems such as HVAC, drainage, and fire protection.
Conduct site inspections and supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and equipment.
Analyze project requirements and propose cost-effective, technically sound engineering solutions.
Ensure all mechanical MEP works adhere to safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and end users throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and client stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering within the MEP sector.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, drainage, and fire protection systems design and installation.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local Egyptian codes).
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in site supervision, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
