Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and coordinate technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for civil, architectural, electrical, or mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure design intent and project specifications are met.
- Analyze project requirements and provide technical solutions to resolve design and construction challenges.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements throughout all project phases.
- Assist in the preparation and review of material submittals, method statements, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per project schedules.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Support cost estimation, quantity surveying, and value engineering activities as required.
- Participate in site visits to verify work progress and ensure alignment with technical documentation.
- Maintain organized records of all technical documents, correspondence, and project files.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil, Architectural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in a technical office engineering role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard design and drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid knowledge of local and international engineering codes and standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide practical solutions.
- Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
