Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinate between project management and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project specifications and timelines.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications to support construction activities, ensuring compliance with project standards.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project progress, providing actionable insights to improve efficiency.
- Review and analyze project documents, identifying discrepancies and proposing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating supplier proposals and ensuring that materials meet project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including revisions to drawings and changes in project scope.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, addressing technical queries and ensuring clarity in project execution.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates and budgets, analyzing resource allocation to optimize project expenses.
- Implement quality control measures on-site to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a technical office engineering role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools like Primavera or MS Project.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED accreditation are highly desirable to enhance project management skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in another language (e.g., Arabic ) is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex technical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.
