Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for wooden work projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to ensure seamless execution of wooden work from concept to completion.
  • Review architectural and structural drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies related to wooden elements.
  • Develop material take-offs, cutting lists, and bill of quantities for wooden components.
  • Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of high-quality, sustainable materials.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical support to resolve on-site challenges related to joinery and carpentry.
  • Ensure all wooden work complies with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability requirements.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design, cost, and material usage.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Support the continuous improvement of technical office processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical office engineering role, specifically within the wooden work or joinery sector.
  • Proven expertise in preparing shop drawings, technical documentation, and material take-offs for wooden products.
  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Max and V ray
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in resolving technical issues and providing on-site support for wooden work projects.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
