Technical Office Engineer (Products)

Prepare and review technical drawings, product specifications, and bill of materials for furniture and related products.

• Coordinate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
• Analyze project requirements and provide technical solutions to optimize product design and production processes.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical office activities, including reports and project files.
• Assist in the selection of materials and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and cost-effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of new product introductions and modifications by providing technical expertise.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify product installation and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in value engineering initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables through effective planning and coordination.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and resolve technical queries.

Candidates must be proficient in SolidWorks / IMOS software

• 2 to 6 years of experience in a technical office or product engineering role, preferably within the furniture or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing standards and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflows.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret and create technical documentation and product specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
