Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Responsible for leading a team of technical professionals and overseeing the technical aspects of event production and execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Applied arts, Fine arts, Engineering, or any related field.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in technical event production, including audiovisual setups, lighting, staging, and multimedia integration.
- Solid understanding of event production workflows, technical requirements, and best practices.
- Experience in using AutoCAD and/or similar softwares.
Desired Candidate Profile
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, including audiovisual technicians, lighting technicians, stage managers, and other related roles.
- Collaborate with the creative director, 3D team, and account managers to understand event requirements, objectives, and technical specifications.
- Develop technical plans and designs for event setups, including audio, lighting, staging, and multimedia elements.
- Oversee the setup, installation, and testing of audiovisual equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source and acquire necessary technical equipment and materials.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team during event rehearsals, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth event execution.
- Collaborate with the creative team to integrate technical elements seamlessly into event designs and concepts.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in event production and technical setups.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of technical equipment, ensuring proper storage, maintenance, and organization.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during event setups and operations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn and incorporate feedback.
