Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Overview
Operate, maintain, and perform quality checks on assigned production line equipment to ensure PepsiCo products are manufactured within quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production line machines including:
- Aseptic Krones Systems
- Can Filling Lines
- PET Bottle Filling Lines
- Tetra Pak Packaging Machines
- Blower, Processing, Filler, Shrink Wrapper, Palletizer, Depalletizer, Labeller, Packaging Units
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure high line efficiency and reduced downtime.
- Conduct routine quality tests as per PepsiCo standards.
- Maintain production logs, downtime reports, and quality records.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and GMP protocols on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams for smooth production operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Must Have
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Line Technician in FMCG manufacturing.
- Hands on expertise in operating:
- Aseptic Krones machines
- Can fillers
- PET Bottle lines
- Tetra Pak filling systems
- Strong understanding of production line troubleshooting and line service operations.
- Technical Diploma (Electrical/Mechanical) OR Vocational Technical Education; B.Tech preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
- Good communication skills in English (written & verbal).
- Basic problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain reliability.
