Technical Proposal Engineer (MEP) - Electrical Substations

As Tender Engineer Electrical Substation & Power Projects, you will be responsible for managing the full tendering and bidding process for high-voltage electrical projects, including substations and underground cable works. The role requires strong technical understanding, coordination across departments, and the ability to prepare accurate, competitive, and compliant bid submissions in line with client and project requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Preparing detailed and competitive technical proposals and bid documents for electrical and power projects.
• Reviewing project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contractual documents to fully understand scope, risks, and requirements during the bidding stage.
• Preparing and submitting technical and prequalification documents in compliance with client and consultant requirements.
• Coordinating with engineering, procurement, planning, and commercial teams to collect all required inputs for bid submission.
• Preparing time schedules during the bidding stage using Primavera.
• Supporting bid strategy through schedule optimization and resource planning.
• Organizing, maintaining, and controlling all tender documentation, including technical submissions, specifications, and official correspondence.
• Ensuring all tender documents comply with company standards and client requirements.
• Managing submissions within strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Supporting cost analysis for market studies and project bids.
• Assisting in quantity take-offs, pricing analysis, and cost evaluations for electrical works.
• Previous experience in power projects, including:
  Electrical substations 400 kV, 220 kV
  Underground cables up to 400 kV
