Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the sales division, focusing on elevator systems and custom metal fabrication solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong client pipeline in Ghana and across the West African market, covering elevator systems (including imported motors, pulley systems, and in-house manufactured cabins, panels, and rails).
  • Identify new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors, with a focus on warehouse racking, architectural facades, decorative metal structures, and custom fabrication projects.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and developers to ensure product compatibility and secure project approvals.
  • Oversee and coordinate with the technical team and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality installation of elevators and metalwork at construction sites.
  • Provide post-installation support to ensure customer satisfaction and effectively handle after-sales concerns.
  • Conduct project site visits to assess technical feasibility, take measurements, and monitor project progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, quotations, and pipeline opportunities.
  • Support marketing activities, including client presentations, product demonstrations, and promotional events.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends for senior management review.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical and commercial communication skills (excellent spoken and written English).
  • Solid understanding of elevator systems and/or metal fabrication processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, mechanical layouts, and site plans.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify new business opportunities.
  • Basic knowledge of CAD or familiarity with elevator layouts is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional demeanor when dealing with clients, with strong punctuality and presentation skills.
  • 5 10 years of relevant sales experience in elevator systems, metal fabrication, or building materials.
