Roles & Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Representative – Cementing Services supports cementing sales and service activities by working closely with Senior Technical Sales and operational teams. The role focuses on preparing technical and commercial documentation, gathering and analyzing market and performance data, and managing key information that supports business development and customer engagement.

This role contributes to identifying new business opportunities, supporting competitive proposals and pricing strategies, and strengthening customer relationships. By providing accurate market insights and operational data, the position helps the organization deliver high-quality services while expanding market share. The role also serves as a development pathway toward a Sales Engineer position.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and market segments.

  • Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals, bid submissions, and quotations for customers.

  • Develop presentations and support product demonstrations and technical discussions with clients.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence related to upcoming projects, competitor activities, and equipment utilization.

  • Track product line performance and prepare monthly reports and activity summaries.

  • Participate in internal meetings related to product line updates, sales forecasts, and business opportunities.

  • Prepare and manage technical and commercial documentation required for sales and operational activities.

  • Support operations teams by providing technical information and assisting with service quality improvement initiatives when required.

  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders including sales, operations, service teams, and management.

  • Ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal operational capabilities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements in all activities.

  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.

  • Report unsafe conditions and exercise authority to stop operations where immediate risk exists.

  • Ensure expenses and activities are managed within approved budgets and financial procedures.

  • Contribute to market strategy development, proposal preparation, and customer pricing submissions.

  • Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training and performance development programs.

  • Support teamwork and collaboration across departments to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or related discipline).

  • Experience in oilfield services, cementing operations, or well construction products.

  • Preferred: Minimum 7 years of product line experience, ideally within cementing services or related well construction services.
