Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain packages, procedures, functions and triggers in PL/SQL.
  • Participate in the redesign and optimization of existing treatments.
  • Perform performance analyzes (SQL & PL/SQL), diagnose slowness and propose tuning solutions.
  • Implement good development and structuring practices for PL/SQL code.
  • Collaborate with DBAs to optimize queries and the use of system resources.
  • Participate in the testing phases, performance tests and production.
  • Write the technical documentation associated with the developments carried out;

Technical skills:

  • Advanced mastery of the PL/SQL language: packages, stored procedures, exception handling, cursors, associative tables...
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, complex queries, joins, aggregates, subqueries, CTE).
  • Expertise on Oracle 11g and higher databases.
  • Proven experience in SQL and PL/SQL tuning: analysis of execution plans, indexing, partitioning, statistics.
  • Good mastery of Oracle tools: SQL Developer, TOAD, ect
  • Knowledge of the constraints related to volumetry, performance and security.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Technical Specialist PL/SQL, who will contribute to the development of the functionalities of the different applications and maintain them in operational condition. Specialist in his field, he intervenes directly on all or part of the project.

Profile sought:

  • Education: Bac + 5 (Master or engineering school) in information systems
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar position
