Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor (AVLX) to support the delivery of all Audio, Visual, Lighting, Special Effects, and Power operations for a large-scale live event in Jeddah. This role is suited for a hands-on technical professional with experience in live events, capable of ensuring smooth on-ground execution and high-quality technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the setup, installation, testing, and live operation of all AVLX systems (audio, video, lighting, special effects, and power)
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration across all AVL disciplines
  • Assist in managing system synchronization, programming, and performance during rehearsals and live event days
  • Oversee power distribution on-site, ensuring stable and safe operations in coordination with suppliers and generators
  • Work closely with production, operations, and creative teams to deliver a cohesive technical experience
  • Supervise on-site technicians and contractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
  • Assist in planning technical schedules, workflows, and resource allocation
  • Support load-in, rehearsals, live operations, and load-out phases
  • Conduct regular technical checks and troubleshoot issues in real-time
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high operational standards
  • Support AVLX requirements within branded and experiential zones
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams for inspections and approvals

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical supervision for live events, exhibitions, or large-scale productions
  • Strong knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and power systems
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and team coordination abilities
  • Familiarity with safety standards and on-site compliance requirements
  • Experience working with diverse teams and vendors is an advantage
