Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

IT Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral problems.
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and user inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher support levels when required.

System & User Administration

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
  • Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
  • Support email systems, Microsoft Office applications, and collaboration tools.
  • Ensure proper setup for new employees (devices, accounts, permissions).

Network & Infrastructure Support

  • Assist in maintaining LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and VPN access.
  • Support basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
  • Monitor IT equipment and report infrastructure problems.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 2 6 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience or manufacturing is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user administration.
  • Knowledge of ticketing/helpdesk systems is preferred.
