Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Follow client safety rules and use monitoring tools (e.g., IR, PD, oil analysis).
  • Inspect substations, report abnormalities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist supervisors, complete tasks on time, and ensure tool care.
  • Respond to emergencies and support monthly condition monitoring reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
  • More than 08 years of experience with a minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in condition monitoring, of primary substations (switchgears, power transformers & reactors, etc.) in major utilities/ organizations at voltage levels of 400kV, 220kV, 132kV, 66kV, 33kV and 11kV.
  • Good knowledge in condition monitoring techniques of transmission primary substations.
  • Certification courses if any for non-destructive testing (NDT), IR Thermography, Partial Discharge measurement, oil analysis.
  • Known knowledge of working in networking, interfaces between online condition monitoring equipment, smart devices preferred.
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules in Energy (Power & Utilities) sector.
  • Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools.
