Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate door installations, ensuring alignment, smooth operation, and adherence to blueprints and specifications to guarantee structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve door-related issues, including mechanical, electrical, and structural problems, to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
  • Execute timely and effective door repairs, including frame adjustments, hardware replacements, and component fixes, to restore functionality and maintain security.
  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of door parts and materials, accurately tracking usage and reordering supplies, to ensure the availability of necessary resources for repairs and installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as those from the Door and Hardware Institute (DHI), demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in door installation, repair, and maintenance, showcasing a solid understanding of door systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in the construction or related industry, highlighting familiarity with building codes and construction processes.
