Job Summary Long Description Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabricationEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable installing connectors mounting projects and metal fabricationRead and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprintsUse hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasksAssist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiringProjector and screen support structure installationsTest point to point functionality of systemsField installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capabilityMentor Level I and Level II TechniciansLoad and test code for control and DSP systemsMake minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmerProvide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project ManagerPerform client training as neededCustomer liaison in absence of Project ManagerResponsible for job documentation as neededDemonstrate job site leadershipAssume Foreman duties for active projectsTravel to various job sites requiredOther duties assigned as neededSkills And AbilitiesEffectively communicate with employees customers and colleaguesAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesBasic computer knowledgeKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio video and controlAbility to manage medium to large projectsMinor programming capability (AMX/Creston) - changes and troubleshootingEducation and/or ExperienceMinimum Of 5 Years Of Audiovisual Installation Experience PreferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredCDL preferredPreferred External TrainingMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferredInfoComm Quick Start to the audiovisual industryInfoComm CTS General CertificationOSHA 10-Hour Construction CourseExtron AV Associate CertificationExtron School of A/V Technologies for System DesignersCrestron Professional Installation CertificationEssentials of Crestron ProgrammingAMX Intro to Networking for AV ProfessionalsAMX InstallerAMX Control Programmer IMinimum of one lighting control system: Lutron Developing the Market for Commercial Lighting Control Crestron Lighting Control SystemMinimum of three DSP systems (Basic Setup): ClearOne Technical Specialist Certification Polycom Vortex Pre-Sales Technical Training Course and Exam BIAMP Syste
