Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising regularly with the Workshop Manager with regards to priority of work.
  • Planning and scheduling of machine activities
  • Manufacture components and sub components within the specified tolerances.
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment at all time.
  • Ensure to use the correct PPE at all times during the manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that the machinery are 100% functional at all times.
  • Ensure that the work area is always organized and clean.

Experience & Education:

  • 5 years experience in a workshop environment
  • Experience operating a variety of workshop machines
  • Hands on experience is essential

Key Skills:

  • Skilled in reading mechanical engineering drawings
  • Manufacture components within the specified tolerances
  • Should be capable to work under pressure and without supervision
  • Capable to operate a variety of machinery within confidence
