Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Operate medium and low voltage distribution systems including main, secondary, and ring distribution units.
  • Carry out switching, isolation, and connection procedures safely to maintain uninterrupted power supply.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for medium and low voltage equipment and cables.
  • Inspect and test electrical installations, identify faults, and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Support engineers during network commissioning, fault diagnosis, and repair activities.
  • Follow all safety and industrial security regulations during operation and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance work, faults, and inspections.
  • Ensure all tools, testing devices, and protective equipment are in good working condition.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-5 years of proven experience as a technician in an industrial, manufacturing, or related environment.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work full-time and in a location-based (on-site) arrangement.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
