Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and calibrate new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and support operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all technical operations.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Assist in sourcing and ordering replacement parts and supplies as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to coffee equipment maintenance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a technician, preferably in a food and beverage or hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of coffee machines and related equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing technical guidance.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Flexibility to support urgent repairs or maintenance outside of regular hours if needed.
