Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician to support our operations focused on Material Handling Equipment. The Technician is responsible for conducting mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on equipment such as Toyota, BT, and VNA models. The ideal candidate should be up to date with technical product knowledge and demonstrate the ability to resolve issues right the first time.

  • Perform advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose faults accurately and provide effective solutions, ensuring minimal repeat issues.
  • Carry out both workshop and field-based service jobs while identifying and reporting potential issues proactively.
  • Follow procedures outlined in service manuals and utilize checklists to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate repair progress clearly with the Foreman or Service Supervisor.
  • Maintain productivity and efficiency as per KPIs and service standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience with Material Handling Equipment, especially Toyota, BT, or VNA machines.
  • High-level diagnostic skills with both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to follow detailed service manuals and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Must hold a valid UAE manual driving license.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak service periods.
  • Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience servicing material handling equipment, ideally Toyota/BT.
  • Proven expertise in performing component overhauls and diagnosing faults independently.
  • Technical education, apprenticeships, or formal training in the automotive/equipment field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive work ethic
