Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform protection maintenance, relay testing, and equipment calibration.
  • Troubleshoot and repair protection/control circuit issues.
  • Conduct routine and pre-commissioning works in substations.
  • Maintain tools, test sets, and assist KM engineers/supervisors.
  • Handle relay settings, inspections, and decommissioning tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
  • Minimum 02 years for Degree holders and 04 years for Diploma holders in
  • Protection of EHV Live system, Transmission systems with similar utility. Should be familiar with Numerical relay setting, testing etc. and numerical relay test equipments (single/3 phase).
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools.
