Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To carry out hardware/equipment maintenance activities, such as Warranty, Corrective Maintenance, Planned Preventive Maintenance, trouble shooting and Emergency Maintenance.
- Attend customer call-outs for VRF & DX system malfunctions (cooling/heating issues, error codes, leaks).
- Diagnose electrical, refrigerant, and control system faults using multimeters, gauges, and OEM software.
- Repair or replace faulty components (PCBs, sensors, compressors, expansion valves).
- Execute scheduled maintenance under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for VRF & DX systems.
- Inspect and verify warranty claims for VRF & Dx systems
- Determine if faults are covered under warranty or due to misuse/improper installation.
- Prepare detailed technical reports for manufacturer approval.
- Replace defective parts under warranty and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to end-users on system operation and maintenance.
- Conduct basic training for facility managers on troubleshooting common VRF issues.
- Maintain professional communication with clients to ensure service satisfaction.
- Knowledge of BMS integration is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma in HVAC/Refrigeration or equivalent technical certification.
- Years of Experience 3 – 5 years local experience in a similar role
- Attention to details and concern for quality & safety
