Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and test batteries, chargers, UPS, and fire protection systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair DC system issues in substations.
  • Support commissioning, inspections, and decommissioning tasks.
  • Assist KM staff and maintain tools and equipment records.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution / college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
  • Minimum 02 years for Degree holders and 04 years for Diploma holders in DC system (mainly in Borri, Chloride, AEES, Benning).
  • Should be familiar with different makes & types of Battery Chargers, DCDB, Batteries, UPS, CO2 Fire Protection system, Eye Wash systems & SERGI Transformer Explosion Prevention systems (routine maintenance, fault finding, trouble shooting, tuning of the parameters etc.)
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools
