Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection of assigned substations and reporting progress.
  • Assist KM staff and follow approved work instructions.
  • Respond to emergencies and maintain accurate site records.
  • Perform maintenance on transformers, GIS, reactors, and switchgear.
  • Handle standby calls and other tasks assigned by KM supervisors.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution college / university acceptable to KAHRAMAA or Secondary School certificate with Technical Trade certificate.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English at Secondary School Level.
  • Minimum 03 years of experience in switchgear with major utilities /Trade certificate holders.
  • Good knowledge of switchgear operation & maintenance. Basic understanding of cable circuits.
  • Should be familiar with different makes of the switchgear.
  • Should be familiar with control circuits & related trouble shooting jobs.
  • Knowledge of Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Ability of identifying the parts and usage of proper tools.
