Roles & Responsibilities

Job purpose

The Technology Project Management Office Specialist position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of the group's strategic technology project planning and organization process, so that they are completed on time, within budget, and within the defined scope.Follows up on all aspects of projects, sets timelines, distributes tasks, monitors progress of implementation, and prepares periodic reports to technical management on the status of each project. He will also work directly with clients to ensure deliverables are within the defined scope and budget, and will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are aligned.


Responsibilities

Strategy and Governance of the Technical Project Management Office

Develop and implement the Technology Project Management Office strategy to ensure its alignment with the overall objectives of the group.Develop and implement project management standards, procedures and best practices to ensure consistency and quality in their implementation.Establish a comprehensive project management governance framework that includes policies, procedures, and performance indicators.

Project Portfolio Management

Oversee all technical projects to ensure they align with business priorities and strategic objectives.Managing the process of receiving, evaluating, and prioritizing new projectsMonitor the performance of the project portfolio and prepare periodic reports to senior management on progress and results.

Resource Management

Effectively allocate resources between different projects to achieve optimal utilization of available capabilities.Identify resource gaps and address them through skills development or recruitment.Coordinate with other departments to ensure the availability of the necessary resources for each project.

Project support and supervision

Providing guidance and support to project managers to ensure they have the tools and knowledge required to succeed.Conduct periodic project reviews to ensure compliance with standards and identify opportunities for improvement.Address project issues and address significant risks in a timely manner to ensure project success.

Training and Development

Preparing and implementing training programs to develop the skills of project managers and team membersPromote a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the Project Management Office and across different work teams.

Stakeholder Relationships Management

Effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met.Present project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.Enhancing cooperation and alignment between IT management and various business units

Reporting and follow-up

Monitor project performance indicators and analyze the extent to which short- and long-term goals are achieved.Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
