Tekla Modeler DUNCAN AND ROSS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCIES

We are seeking a skilled Tekla Modeler to join our engineering and drafting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Tekla Structures to develop accurate and detailed 3D models of structural steel, precast concrete, or reinforcement components.

The role involves producing shop drawings, erection drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on engineering designs and client specifications, while ensuring alignment with fabrication and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures.

• Create and manage models for fabrication and erection, including connections, assemblies, and detailing.

• Model complete facade assemblies, including brackets, anchors, mullions, transoms, cladding panels, and fixings.

• Generate shop drawings, erection drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) directly from Tekla models.

• Perform material take-offs and ensure model data aligns with fabrication requirements.

• Collaborate with structural engineers, detailers, and fabrication teams to resolve design issues and improve constructability.

• Maintain model accuracy and consistency through design revisions and different project phases.

• Ensure all work complies with project standards, industry codes, and client specifications.
