Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems for offshore and onshore Oil & Gas projects

  2. Perform configuration, programming, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment and systems

  3. Handle systems such as PAGA, PABX/IP-PABX, VSAT, CCTV, GMDSS, VHF/UHF Radio, LAN/WLAN

  4. Support Lead Engineer / Project Manager in daily project execution and reporting

  5. Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) & SAT (Site Acceptance Test)

  6. Ensure timely completion of commissioning activities as per project schedule

  7. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings

  8. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and client representatives

  9. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements

  10. Provide on-site technical support during installation and post-commissioning phases

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication / Electrical / Electronics Engineering

  2. 4–8 years of experience in telecom commissioning within Oil & Gas / Offshore / Marine projects

  3. Strong hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecom systems

  4. Expertise in at least 2–3 systems such as VSAT, PAGA, GMDSS, CCTV, or Radio systems

  5. Experience in offshore platforms, shipyards, or EPC projects preferred

  6. Familiar with FAT / SAT procedures and commissioning protocols

  7. Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel)

  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  9. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

  10. Excellent communication and coordination skills

  11. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team
