Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Core function: Generate qualified leads and accelerate the funnel for sales teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling to targeted sectors, follow-ups on inbound leads, and reactivation of dormant accounts.
  • Appointment setting for field sales and support for campaigns/events.
  • Database building, contact verification, and lead scoring.
  • Basic product introduction and needs discovery, escalating qualified opportunities to sales engineers.
  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective and existing clients, introducing AIC s portfolio of security and access control solutions.
  • Identify customer needs, provide detailed product information, and recommend tailored solutions to drive sales conversions.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and referrals to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status using CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales, technical, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experience from initial contact to post-sale support.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and product demonstrations via phone or online platforms.
  • Handle customer objections, negotiate pricing and terms, and close sales effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product launches to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and potential areas for product or service improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 3 to 10 years of proven experience in tele sales, telemarketing, or inside sales, preferably within the technology or security solutions sector.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and confident phone presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical product features and benefits.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
