Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for motivated Student Counsellors (Sales Team Junior & Senior) to join our on-site team. You will be the first point of contact for incoming leads, helping prospective students explore study options in Germany and other upcoming destinations. Your main responsibility is to educate, advise, and build trust with potential students, guiding them until they officially begin the process with us after which the Admissions Team will take over.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and follow up with potential students (leads) via phone, WhatsApp, and email
- Advise students on study options in Germany (public and private universities), and other destinations including Spain, Italy, and Poland (soon to be launched)
- Understand students backgrounds and goals to offer tailored guidance
- Follow up consistently to nurture interest and convert leads into active applicants
- Clearly explain University Assist s services and value proposition
- Coordinate with the Admissions Team for a smooth handover once a student signs up
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions using CRM tools
Qualifications
- Strong sales and consulting skills (senior candidates should have proven track record)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in educational consulting, telesales, or customer-facing roles is a plus
- High level of motivation, empathy, and persistence
- Fluency in English; other languages (e.g. German, Spanish, Italian) are a bonus
- Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
- Must have a personal laptop
