Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • The Teller collects cash and check payments from clients for property sales, rentals, and other services.
  • The role includes processing all payments accurately and issuing official receipts.
  • The Teller reconciles daily cash and check collections against system records to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
  • Responsibilities also include greeting clients professionally, answering payment-related inquiries, and delivering a positive service experience.
  • The Teller must adhere to all cash-handling policies and security procedures to prevent fraud and protect funds.
  • Additionally, the Teller prepares daily reports on all transactions and reconciles any discrepancies with the supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • A bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

Previous Experience:

  • Candidates should have 0 3 years of experience in a teller, cashier, or cash-handling role, preferably in a real estate or banking environment.

Special Requirements:

  • The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong mathematical and calculation skills, excellent customer service and communication abilities, and integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems is also essential.
