Role Summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is hiring a Teller for its Dubai branch to deliver seamless front-office banking transactions, uphold high service standards, and promote digital channel adoption. This customer-facing role is vital in enhancing the daily banking experience while maintaining compliance, risk controls, and operational excellence.

What You ll Do


* Handle cash transactions including deposits, withdrawals, inter-account transfers, and safe/vault reconciliation
* Process demand drafts, telegraphic transfers, travellers cheques, IPOs, and returned outward clearings
* Assist customers with cheque collection, posting vouchers, updating currency boards, and banking product queries
* Ensure 100% accuracy in transaction processing with zero income leakage or compliance errors
* Answer phone inquiries professionally and escalate as needed
* Actively promote and demonstrate FAB s online/mobile banking applications to walk-in customers
* Generate qualified leads for retail banking products by identifying customer needs
* Support branch management in daily operations and complete mandatory trainings
* Represent FAB values to achieve NPS (Net Promoter Score) targets and maintain high customer satisfaction
* Maintain meticulous documentation and file management as per bank procedures

Ideal Profile

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 2 years of front-line banking experience, preferably in UAE retail banking
* Knowledge of core banking services, transaction protocols, and customer service practices
* Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and cash handling discipline
* Familiar with online/mobile banking tools and able to guide customers through digital onboarding
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to cross-sell and promote FAB products
