Tender Expert CMA CGM

Pricing Executive (RFQ, Tender & General Pricing) is responsible for managing all pricing activities with a focus on tenders, RFQs, along with support on day-to-day pricing requests from customers and network offices. The role ensures timely, accurate, and competitive pricing for air and ocean services while maintaining profitability and supporting commercial objectives through close coordination with internal teams and external partners in alignment with the company objectives.

The Executive uses market knowledge, carrier insights, and internal tools to support pricing across all modes for new and existing opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage end-to-end RFQ and tender processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in coordination with all stakholders.

• Support to handle day-to-day pricing requests for customers and global network offices (import/export/triangular shipments).

• Analyze customer requirements, commercial terms, and pricing structures.

• Coordinate with procurement, operations, carriers, overseas agents, and network partners for rate sourcing.

• Prepare competitive, compliant, and profitable pricing proposals for ocean, air, and land freight services.

• Maintain and update freight rate databases, tariffs, and pricing records. Ensure competitiveness in local harmonised tariff and MSR.

• Perform cost analysis and margin calculations to safeguard profitability.

• Support the sales team with pricing strategies, spot quotations, and long-term rate agreements.

• Monitor market trends, carrier rate fluctuations, surcharges, and industry developments.

• Maintain proper documentation and version control for all submissions.

• Ensure proper documentation, version control, and smooth implementation of awarded contracts.
