Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects.
Coordinate with internal engineering, design, and estimation teams to ensure accurate and competitive tender submissions.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services required for MEP projects.
Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial proposals in response to client tenders.
Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets and enhance competitiveness.
Maintain up-to-date records of all tender and procurement activities, including bid documentation and supplier databases.
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to clarify technical queries and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure quality standards.
Support contract negotiations and assist in finalizing procurement agreements in line with company policies.
Ensure all tender and procurement processes adhere to company quality, safety, and ethical standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in tendering and procurement within the MEP contracting industry.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Firefighting, and Light Current systems and materials.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and high level of organizational skills.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
