Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for sports construction projects.
Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in line with client requirements and company objectives.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary data for pricing and tender submissions.
Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project scope, risks, and resource requirements.
Develop detailed bill of quantities (BOQ) and pricing schedules for various sports facility projects.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Monitor market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure up-to-date and competitive pricing strategies.
Review and analyze post-tender feedback to improve future bid success rates.
Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements in tender submissions.
Maintain organized records of all tendering and pricing activities for audit and reference purposes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in tendering, pricing, or estimation within the construction or sports facility industry.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market rates.
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, or similar tools).
Strong negotiation and communication skills for dealing with suppliers and clients.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
