Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze and review tender documents, drawings, and specifications for civil and architectural projects.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions in line with client requirements.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather necessary technical and commercial information.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data for accurate tender preparation.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and evaluate their offers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client specifications during the tendering process.
Participate in pre-tender and post-tender meetings, providing technical clarifications as required.
Identify and assess potential risks and propose mitigation strategies within tender submissions.
Maintain up-to-date records of all tendering activities, correspondence, and documentation.
Support the negotiation of contract terms and conditions with clients and stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in tendering, estimation, or bidding within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil and architectural construction methods, materials, and standards.
- Proficiency in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and technical proposals.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work onsite as required by project demands.
