Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for sports construction projects, including fields, tracks, courts, and pools.
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements and scope.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary data for tendering and estimation.
Conduct site visits and assessments to collect relevant information for cost estimation and risk evaluation.
Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure alignment with project specifications and budget constraints.
Develop and maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors for future reference and benchmarking.
Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns for tender submissions.
Participate in tender clarification meetings and negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Monitor and track tender status, ensuring timely submission and compliance with client requirements.
Support post-tender activities, including contract award, handover to execution teams, and cost control.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Civil & Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or cost engineering within the construction or sports infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and clients.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
