Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Overseeing the entire tendering process, from initial bid preparation to final submission, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is complete.
  • Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information and prepare competitive bids for contracting projects.
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends, ensuring bids align with current market conditions.
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors, aiming to secure favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all tender submissions.
  • Identifying potential risks in tender submissions and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Working closely with the finance department to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for tender submissions.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of tender submissions and projects.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tendering professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Reviewing and analyzing outcomes of tender submissions, providing feedback to improve future bids and strategies.
