Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end terminal operations including vessel import/export, ship-to-ship transfers, pipeline transfers, tanker loading/unloading, and tank cleaning.
Act as Loading Master, ensuring safe and efficient berthing, cargo handling, and documentation closure.
Monitor and maintain critical terminal infrastructure (pumps, pipelines, meters, control systems) for maximum uptime.
Develop, implement, and review SOPs, operational procedures, and risk assessments.
Oversee inventory management, stock reconciliation, and product quality as per TFMS and client requirements.
Plan and supervise maintenance, upgrades, and modifications of tanks and terminal facilities.
Ensure high terminal occupancy and drive business development initiatives.
Manage client relationships, contracts, invoicing, and service agreements.
Liaise with regulatory authorities (HFZA, Civil Defense, EHS, insurance) for compliance and approvals.
Track KPIs, operational performance, and prepare reports for senior management.
Develop and manage CAPEX & OPEX budgets with focus on cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, ISGOTT standards, and internal safety policies.
Conduct safety audits, drills, and toolbox talks to maintain a zero LTI environment.
Lead, mentor, and manage terminal teams to ensure high performance and productivity.
Coordinate with process, maintenance, logistics, and trading teams to resolve operational challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
15–18 years of experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical terminal operations.
Strong expertise in vessel handling, tank farm operations, pipeline transfers, and process plant operations.
Proven experience in commercial management, client handling, and business development.
Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in SAP, Tankage Pro, ERP systems (Qino, EXIM), and MS Office.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of HSE standards, ISGOTT guidelines, and regulatory compliance.
Certifications such as IMO Level 2, NEBOSH/IOSH, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor preferred.
Additional training in PTW, gas testing, confined space, firefighting, and oil spill response is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
