Test Engineer Backend Luxoft

Responsibilities

• Completely accountable for quality and timely delivery of own tasks.
• Test cases creation based on Customer and Software requirements
• Build up test environment
• Test cases execution
• Test case logs/results reporting, defects registering (defects tracking system)
• Defects verification/reproducing
• Timely report status and progress of the assigned activities to supervisor.
• Learn and improve technical knowledge, comply with Luxoft Automotive LOB processes
• Review, analysis and test case creation for comprehensive Customer/Software Requirements and scenarios
• Test case maintenance in compliance with product evolution, requirements and test cases traceability tracking
• Test automation scripts creation/run
• Interactions (e.g, call conf, emails) with Client if required.
• Testing documentation creation
• instructions, user guides, test reports
• Provide the Test Manager with accurate estimates for assigned task duration
• High-level test documentation updating and maintenance. Assistance in creation test strategy, test plan, release test documentation.
• Analyze and estimate testing efforts for Change Requests.
• Regression tests strategy selection
• Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test deliverables and test environments used
• Provide technical guidance/trainings to junior-level test engineers

Skills

Must have

• 3+ years of software testing experience
• At least 2+ years of experience with REST API Testing, with Test Automation with JAVA/Python/JAVASCRIPT
• Functional Testing
• Database knowledge
