Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform testing of all substation equipment (transformers, switchgear, protection relays, CTs, VTs, circuit breakers, etc.). • Execute commissioning activities, functional checks, and system energization. • Use modern test equipment for primary & secondary injection, relay testing, insulation resistance, contact resistance, etc. • Generate detailed test reports using appropriate software tools. • Coordinate with client representatives, contractors, and project teams during commissioning. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in substation testing & commissioning. • Proficiency with test equipment (OMICRON, Megger, CPC, Primary injection kits). • Skilled in software/reporting tools for test documentation. • Strong understanding of MV/HV substation systems and protection schemes. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
