Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
  • Carry out testing of substation components such as Current Transformers (CT), Voltage Transformers (VT), Circuit Breakers (CBs), and Busbars.
  • Review and validate technical documents, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
  • Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical submittals, detailed test reports, and system performance documentation.
  • Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and timely execution of commissioning tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning (SEC approval preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of power systems, protection relays, and high-voltage equipment.
  • Proficiency in substation testing methodologies and commissioning procedures.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and risk assessment protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
