Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
- Carry out testing of substation components such as Current Transformers (CT), Voltage Transformers (VT), Circuit Breakers (CBs), and Busbars.
- Review and validate technical documents, testing procedures, and commissioning plans.
- Conduct system validation, troubleshooting, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare technical submittals, detailed test reports, and system performance documentation.
- Collaborate with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and timely execution of commissioning tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and commissioning (SEC approval preferred).
- Strong knowledge of power systems, protection relays, and high-voltage equipment.
- Proficiency in substation testing methodologies and commissioning procedures.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and risk assessment protocols.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
