Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute all testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems, ensuring adherence to TAQA standards and project specifications, from pre-commissioning to final handover.
  • Develop and review commissioning plans, method statements, and test procedures, tailored to specific project needs and compliant with relevant industry codes and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor commissioning teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring safe working practices, as well as efficient execution of all commissioning activities.
  • Perform detailed inspections and functional tests on electrical equipment, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays, to verify proper operation and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience in Testing and Commissioning works up to 220Kv GIS in substation projects.

  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering

  • TAQA/DEWA competent person certificate for 132Kv and/or above substation works (Transmission Side)
