Roles & Responsibilities
Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia
A leading organization in robotic coating and pipeline integrity solutions, is seeking a skilled and
detail-oriented Testing Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on
experience in testing and validating complex electrical and mechanical systems used in industrial
environments. This role involves supporting the development, testing, and troubleshooting of
robotic equipment to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
- Conduct functional, performance, and safety testing of robotic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for electrical and mechanical
- Support the design and integration teams by providing feedback from testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electro-mechanical issues in our robotic systems.
- Document test results, anomalies, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations for testing and safety.
- Assist in the designing, setup and maintenance of test rigs/setups, automated data acquisition
- systems for various electronics and mechanical systems.
- Participate in field trials and testing of systems when required.
- Continuously improve testing methodologies and contribute to product quality enhancements.
- Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in testing preferably on electro-mechanical industrial equipment.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Language: Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Problem Solver: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Testing & Validation: Strong experience in testing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Electrical Systems: Knowledge of wiring, circuit testing, and electrical safety standards.
- Mechanical Systems: Understanding of mechanical assemblies, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Troubleshooting: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware and system-level issues.
