The sales manager is responsible for overseeing daily sales operations within the showroom, including greeting and interacting with customers, explaining the product's story to highlight its value. Their role also encompasses processing sales transactions, recording sales, updating inventory, maintaining the display's organization and overall appearance, and preparing concise sales reports and customer feedback to support business development and revenue growth.
Key Result Areas
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Welcoming visitors and customers: Welcoming visitors to the exhibition (both Egyptians and foreigners) in a polite and friendly manner.
• Communication in English: Providing support and explanations to tourists and foreign visitors in English to ensure a superior shopping experience.
• Explaining the product story: Providing customers with comprehensive information about traditional wooden products, handicrafts, and the role of women in the workshop, which enhances the product's value to the buyer.
• Sales Operations Management: Completing direct sales transactions and handling cash or electronic payments accurately.
• Inventory Management (Excel): Recording daily sales transactions and updating inventory data (incoming and outgoing) regularly and accurately using spreadsheets (Excel).
• Exhibition coordination: Ensuring that the exhibits are arranged in an attractive and organized manner, and maintaining the cleanliness of the exhibition and the overall appearance of the place throughout the working period.
• Reporting: Submitting simple periodic reports to management about the most requested products and customer feedback to improve the business.
Requirements
Qualifications and requirements:
Geographical location: Residents of Esna city or the surrounding areas.
Personal characteristics: Possessing a friendly, tactful personality and a high ability to communicate with the public.
Languages: Proficiency in English (good to excellent level)
Technical skills include high organizational skills, ability to manage records and follow up, familiarity with Excel and the ability to use it flexibly and easily to manage data and sales
