Thermal Spray Operator

We are seeking a skilled Thermal Spray Operator to join our coatings team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) systems and be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare workpieces through masking, cleaning, and grit blasting.
• Set up and operate HVOF thermal spray systems based on job specifications.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters including temperature, spray distance, and rate.
• Conduct inspections for coating adhesion, coverage, and thickness using precision tools.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures including PPE usage and ventilation compliance.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance on spray equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, QC reports, and job records.
• Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure technical requirements and customer standards are met.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or technical certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in thermal spray or industrial coating operations.
• Working knowledge of HVOF systems, coating materials, and safety protocols.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measurement instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
