Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Process and issue airline tickets for domestic and international travel using global distribution systems (GDS).

Handle ticket reservations, reissuance, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with airline policies.

Provide accurate fare quotations and assist clients with itinerary planning and travel options.

Ensure all ticketing transactions comply with company and industry regulations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline schedules, fare rules, and promotional offers.

Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to ticketing promptly and professionally.

Coordinate with travel consultants and other departments to deliver seamless travel solutions.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly ticketing reports for management review.

Assist in training new staff on ticketing procedures and GDS usage.

Uphold high standards of customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients and airline partners.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of 1 year of experience in ticketing, travel agency, or a related field.

Up to 8 years of relevant experience will be considered for senior roles.

Proficiency in using global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.

Strong understanding of airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and travel documentation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Customer-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.

Flexibility to work full-time, under limited supervision, and as part of a team.
