Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly weld various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, using TIG and Arc welding techniques, ensuring superior quality and structural integrity.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements, selecting appropriate materials and processes for each project.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and preheating as needed, ensuring optimal weld penetration and minimizing defects.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, adjusting parameters such as amperage, voltage, and gas flow to achieve desired weld characteristics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and mechanical aptitude.
- Holds a relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) demonstrating proficiency in TIG and Arc welding techniques.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in TIG and Arc welding, preferably within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Demonstrates expertise in welding a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
