Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly install ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other tile types, ensuring precise cuts and layouts to meet project specifications and aesthetic goals.
- Prepare surfaces by leveling, applying mortar, and ensuring proper adhesion, utilizing techniques to address imperfections and guarantee long-lasting installations.
- Perform gypsum carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing, integrating tile work seamlessly with other construction elements.
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape tiles and gypsum materials using hand and power tools, maintaining a high level of precision and minimizing waste.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education and understanding.
- Holds a relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in tiling and/or gypsum carpentry, showcasing formal training and expertise.
- Demonstrates proficiency in tile setting, gypsum carpentry, and related construction techniques, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations, ensuring compliance and a commitment to safe work practices.
